Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Solar Project Manager to oversee end-to-end solar power projects, from planning and design through installation and commissioning. The role involves managing teams, coordinating with vendors and clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Lead and manage solar PV (rooftop / ground-mounted) projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
• Technical & Quality Control
• Oversee site surveys, design validation, and feasibility studies.
• Review system designs, layouts, and BOQ to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure quality and performance.
• Team & Vendor Management
• Supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and EPC partners.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and MIS updates.
• Liaise with government agencies / discoms for net-metering and statutory approvals.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
• Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and approvals.
• Provide periodic progress updates and ensure client satisfaction.
