Job description

You might be a fit if you :

Have 0–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
Are comfortable with modern security tools and workflows (e.g. Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, OpenVAS, Splunk, Snort, OSSEC, CrowdStrike, Qualys, or similar )
Understand core security practices : vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, incident response, secure coding principles, security audits, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Have participated in internships, bug bounty programs, CTFs, open-source security projects, or personal projects that demonstrate security skills
Are comfortable working in fast-paced, founder-led teams

Role details :

Flexible work : async and remote-first

Expected commitment : 10–40 hrs / week (part-time or full-time)

Contract duration : 1–3 months, often with extension or conversion to full-time

Direct interviews with startup founders and hiring teams via Crolit

Compensation :

Pay ranges from $15 / hr for part-time gigs to $15K–$30K annually for full-time roles.
