The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the placement process for students, connecting them with potential employers, and ensuring a smooth transition from education to employment. This role is ideal for freshers / entry-level candidates looking to start their careers in recruitment and career services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies to facilitate placement opportunities for students.
- Organize and conduct placement drives and recruitment fairs.
- Assist students in preparing for interviews, including resume writing and mock interviews.
- Coordinate with academic departments to understand student skills and ensure alignment with industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements and employer interactions.
- Provide regular updates to management on placement statistics and trends.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.Organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of recruitment processes and job market trends in India.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with online job portals and social media for recruitment purposes.Skills Required
