Test Automation Team Lead with a strong background in software testing methodologies and experience with test automation tools and frameworks (UiPath, Jenkins, Python). As a Test Automation Team Lead, you will play a critical role in automation testing strategy, leading, and guiding automation engineers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

  • Expert in test automation frameworks.
  • Works on automation of SAP / Salesforces / Hybirs, web and mobile applications.
  • Building automated test scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests.
  • Excellent knowledge an understanding of industry standard testing tools.
  • Must lead and guide two or more automation engineers.
  • Works closely with cross functional teams in achieving testing objectives.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency across all testing practices.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Percent of Time

Technical Leadership :

  • Build test automation framework, set up Continuous Integration. Continuously improve test automation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide mentorship to ensure the quality and reliability of automation code.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software development practices, including code reviews and quality assurance best practices. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation. 50%

    • Collaboration and Communication :

  • Maintain collaboration and communication with Testing COE Global team members on overall Testing COE strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely ZTD Cross functional teams that includes by not limited to Project Managers, Functional SMEs, Developers, Agile Scrum Teams, Product Owners, Compliance Specialists, Zoetis Business, Managed Service Providers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment between testing activities and project milestones.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable insights. 30%

    • Team Leadership :

  • Provide direction and support to test automation engineers, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
  • Encourage open communication and constructive feedback to promote a positive work environment. 20%

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and / or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using industry-leading tools and technologies (e.g., UiPath Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and QA best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing and test automation (e.g., UiPath Certifications, ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver) are a plus.

    • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    Indicate the technical skills required and / or preferred, as applicable.

    Required :

  • Automation testing tools : UiPath Suite (Orchestrator, UiPath Studio and Test Manager)
  • Mobile automation testing tools for Android, iOS, and cross-platform ones like Appium, pCloudy or Saucelabs
  • Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Github
  • JIRA – Defect tracking and task creation tool
  • ALM- Test and Defect Management tool

    • Preferred :

  • Experience using industry-leading tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines like Azure DevOps
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, SAP Hybris, Tableau
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, UiPath).

    • PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Regular working hours are from 11 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 PM IST or 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00pm IST

    Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required for e.g., during production go-live.
