Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android engineer to join our team to develop and optimize next-generation live video streaming solutions. This role will focus on delivering low-latency, reliable streaming experiences, and building robust SDK components that facilitate seamless integration with our platform and third-party services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve our mobile video player framework and SDK, ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-performance live streaming.

Core Requirements

• Strong programming expertise in Java and Kotlin
• Experience with Android Jetpack components and modern app architecture
• Proven experience developing or working with SDKs—building APIs, libraries, or modules that enable live video playback, manifest handling (MPD / M3U8), buffer management, and adaptive bitrate algorithms (ABR)
• Hands-on experience with ExoPlayer or similar video playback frameworks
• Familiarity with live stream metrics, QoE monitoring, transcoding workflows, and using analytics platforms like Conviva or Mux
• Understanding of dynamic manifest generation and real-time stream management
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
