Role : Senior Network Software Engineer - Multicast

Experience : 7 Years to 14 Years

Education : BE / Btech / ME / MTECH.

Work Location : Bangalore

Job requirement :

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge networking products. In this role, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our L2 / L3 multicast features.

Responsibilities :

Develop and enhance L2 / L3 multicast functionalities for our network devices.
Implement and optimize protocols such as IGMPv2 / v3 and PIM.
Work with complex network topologies, demonstrating a strong understanding of Designated Router (DR) and Non-DR roles in multicast environments.
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C / C++ and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex network problems.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in L2 / L3 multicast development.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IGMPv2 / v3 and PIM protocols.

Solid understanding of multicast network topology concepts, including DR and Non-DR roles.

Proficiency in programming with C / C++ and Python.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
