Purpose of the Role
The Network Tech Ops professional will be part of the Technology Delivery Unit (TDU) and play a key role in managing multiple projects under the Network Tower, including Transition & Steady State Operations. The role involves close collaboration with Delivery, Transition, and Practice teams to ensure successful execution of network programs, efficient governance, and continuous service improvement.
Experience Required
Overall : 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Network Operations.
Network Delivery : 8+ years in managing WAN, LAN, DC-LAN, WiFi, SD-WAN / SD-LAN implementations and operations.
Transition Management : Strong background in Transition, Transformation, and steady state governance.
Prior experience in handling multi-country / multi-customer environments is highly desirable.
Key Competencies & Skills
Operational Leadership :
Manage delivery of multiple network projects / programs under the TDU.
Oversee transition from solution to operations, ensuring seamless handover.
Drive SLA / KPI adherence, compliance, and quality of service delivery.
Project & Transition Management :
Strong understanding of transition frameworks, governance models, and operational readiness.
Ability to lead cutovers, migrations, and handovers with minimal risk.
Exposure to outcome-based and managed services contracts.
Technical Knowledge (Working-Level) :
Good understanding of network technologies (SD-WAN, SD-LAN, NextGen WiFi, NFV, Automation).
Familiarity with network tools & automation platforms.
Experience in coordinating design, implementation, and operations teams.
Business & Stakeholder Management :
Act as the key operations interface between Delivery, Sales, Practice and Clients.
Manage executive-level governance with customer stakeholders.
Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Certifications :
Mandatory : ITIL V3 or higher (Foundation / Intermediate).
Preferred : PMP / Prince2, Agile, or equivalent project / transition management certifications.
Network certifications (CCNP / CCIE) desirable.
Responsibility Areas
Manage end-to-end delivery governance for network projects within TDU.
Ensure smooth transition of services (from pre-sales / solutioning to steady state operations).
Drive governance across multiple accounts / projects, ensuring SLA / KPI compliance.
Partner with Practice teams to operationalize new offerings (SD-WAN / SD-LAN / Automation).
Contribute to risk identification, mitigation, and escalation management.
Prepare and lead SteerCo / Govt reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of automation in operations.
Ensure standardization and best practices across network programs.
