Indirect Tax Executive

About the job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Indirect Tax Executive with a strong focus on GST compliance and financial reporting . The candidate will be responsible for managing GST filings, maintaining accurate books of accounts, and ensuring timely tax payments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
• Reconcile GSTR 2A / 2B with purchase records and coordinate with vendors for mismatches
• Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) calculations and utilization
• Manage and record daily accounting transactions in Tally or other ERP software
• Maintain records of sales, purchases, and expenses with proper documentation
• Coordinate with CA / auditor for tax audits and assessments
• Generate reports for internal use – P&L, balance sheet, TDS summaries, etc.
• Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, and professional tax
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and government authorities regarding tax queries
