The Role :

What You’ll Do :

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code following solid object-oriented design principles.
  • Take full ownership of feature implementation from technical design to deployment.
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, bugs, and scalability issues.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and product teams to analyze requirements and build robust solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize APIs for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Continuously optimize the application for performance and scalability.

What You Bring :

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (database design, query optimization, indexing).
  • Experience working with background jobs, caching, and API integrations.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly across teams.

    • Bonus Points :

  • Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics.
  • Understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies in Rails.
  • Familiarity with DelayedJob, Sidekiq, Redis, or other background job frameworks.
  • Exposure to front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JS) for minor UI integrations.
