We’re looking for a Sr Associate / Program Manager – Careers & Startup Ecosystem Builder who will play a pivotal role in connecting Mesa talent with the most exciting startups and operators in the country.
This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of startups, talent, and ecosystem-building. If you’re passionate about working with founders and operators, curating powerful communities, and shaping the careers of top-tier students, this is for you.
What You’ll Do
1. Build the Startup Network
- Develop and grow a strong network of founders, operators, and HR leaders across the startup ecosystem.
- Leverage these relationships to unlock high-quality career opportunities for Mesa students.
- Drive strategic outreach to bring in both new partnerships and repeat hiring from existing ones.
2. Lead Ecosystem Events & Communities
Curate and host exclusive events—startup panels, leadership workshops, networking sessions—that position Mesa as the go-to hub for startup talent.Build and nurture professional communities of 100+ operators, founders, and TA leaders who engage regularly with Mesa.Create experiences that not only support hiring but also strengthen Mesa’s brand as the school for startup-ready talent.3. Manage Employer Partnerships
Serve as the relationship anchor for Mesa’s corporate partners, ensuring a premium experience throughout hiring cycles.Maintain exceptional satisfaction ratings (4.5 / 5+) across the recruitment journey, from interviews to student performance.Keep engagement strong even during non-hiring seasons through consulting projects, guest lectures, and thought-leadership touchpoints.4. Drive Outcomes with Precision
Track placement metrics, analyze performance data, and ensure we deliver exceptional outcomes (placement rates, avg salary growth, interview conversions).Continuously improve processes so that Mesa is known for speed, quality, and professionalism in hiring partnerships.What We’re Looking For
Startup Ecosystem Credibility : Experience in talent acquisition, employer partnerships, B2B sales to founders / operators, or deep networks in the startup ecosystem.Relationship Builder : Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders (founders, HR heads, CXOs) and create win-win partnerships.Ecosystem Evangelist : Energy and presence to host events, panels, and networking sessions that excite and inspire.Excellent Communicator : Sharp written and verbal communication skills; comfortable representing Mesa externally.Outcome-Oriented : Track record of managing partnerships, communities, or programs with measurable success.Why Join Us
