CMMS Infrastrucure Specialist

Job descriptionPerform regular maintenance and updates to the CMMS software, ensuring the system remains up-to-date and secure. Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, providing technical support to users. Monitor the system's performance, managing downtime and minimizing disruptions to maintenance operations. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of CMMS data, including maintenance logs, work orders, inventory management, and asset history. Generate and analyze reports related to asset performance, maintenance schedules, and resource utilization to support decision-making. Collaborate with teams to develop dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into maintenance activities. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users on CMMS functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Provide ongoing user support, assisting maintenance teams with system navigation and query resolution. Identify areas for improvement in system functionality and propose enhancements to optimize performance. Stay up-to-date with CMMS software updates, new technologies, and industry trends to recommend upgrades or system improvements. Ensure CMMS meets regulatory requirements, safety standards, and data security protocols. Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Coordinate with IT teams for system integration, security patches, and infrastructure management. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to align CMMS data with operational goals. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (2-5 years) in managing and supporting CMMS or similar systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CMMS software platforms (e.g., SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, etc.) is highly preferred. Understanding of asset management, preventive maintenance, and maintenance workflows. Experience with system integration and database management (SQL, MS Access, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and server environments. Proficiency in software troubleshooting, system configurations, and data analysis. Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.

- Configure system settings and user permissions, ensuring proper integration with existing software and hardware systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders (maintenance, IT, engineering) to gather system requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
