We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer with 67 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud architecture, automation, security, and best practices for deploying scalable and secure cloud environments.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Development to ensure robust cloud Responsibilities :
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS / EKS, etc.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Manage and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor cloud systems with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement IAM policies, VPC security, encryption, logging, and compliance controls (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Optimize performance and cost of cloud infrastructure through proper selection of resources, auto-scaling policies, and reserved instances.
- Support container orchestration and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or ECS.
- Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and 24x7 operational support (on rotation).
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for all cloud Skills :
- 67 years of overall IT experience with 4+ years in AWS Cloud Engineering.
- Strong experience with AWS core services : EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.
- Solid understanding of networking in AWS, including NAT gateways, security groups, subnets, VPC peering, etc.
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of Linux / Unix systems administration and Bash / Python scripting.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical Skills :
- Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge).
- Experience with hybrid cloud setups or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Understanding of database services (Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift).
- Experience with cost management and optimization tools on AWS (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor).
- Exposure to container security, WAF, and cloud compliance Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
