Position Overview

Radix Analytics provides cutting-edge solutions in Predictive & Media Analytics, Pricing & Revenue Management, Credit Scoring, and more.

We’re looking for a Sr. Java Developer to maintain and enhance our Java-based applications. This role focuses primarily on maintenance projects and production support .

⚡ This role requires flexibility to provide weekend (from-home) support when urgent client queries or production issues arise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Java JSP / Servlet applications , ensuring stability, security, and performance.
  • Implement bug fixes, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions on time.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients, handling queries, gathering requirements, and providing updates.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding best practices.
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle for maintenance projects, from requirement analysis to deployment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Core Java , JSP , and Servlets , with strong knowledge of Java concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Spring (Spring Core, Spring Boot) , Hibernate , and build tools like Maven (mandatory).
  • Strong experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, DB2, or MySQL).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML .
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git .
  • Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues in large, production systems.
  • Prior experience in client communication for requirement gathering and status updates.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to provide weekend / on-call support as needed.
