Principal Civil Design Engineer

Job descriptionCollaborate with project managers and other engineers to design, plan and oversee construction projects Conduct site investigations and analyze data to determine project feasibility Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that construction materials and methods meet the required standards Supervise construction teams and contractors to ensure that projects are completed according to plans and specifications Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process Develop cost estimates and budget proposals for construction projects Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technology in civil engineering
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil design engineering in Oil & Gas, Engineering or EPC environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
