Role Overview

You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of data assets across the aviation business. You will ensure data is structured, accessible, and trusted to support operational excellence and strategic decision-making. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-value data products in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle management, from acquisition and modelling to cataloguing and governance.
• Design and maintain complex data models that support aviation operations and analytics.
• Manage metadata and data catalogue tools to ensure discoverability and lineage tracking.
• Deliver scalable and secure data products on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python to prepare data for consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Champion data quality, integrity, and compliance across systems and processes.
