Role Objective :
To drive business growth by acquiring and managing clients for industrial and commercial solar EPC projects in Capex / Opex Model. The role involves identifying opportunities, developing B2B relationships, and closing deals that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial, commercial, and institutional segments for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects in Capex and Opex model.
- Engage with Owners, CXOs, facility heads, and sustainability teams to present solar EPC solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with design and estimation teams.
- Participate in tenders, RFPs, and bids , ensuring timely and competitive submissions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, commercials, and payment terms with clients.
2. Market Development & Strategy
Map the industrial clusters and potential customer segments within the region.Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor offerings in the renewable and industrial project space.Support management in defining pricing, market positioning, and go-to-market strategies.Identify potential channel partners who will provide leads and sign up them with the company3. Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, consultants, and channel partners.Ensure seamless coordination between clients and internal teams (engineering, procurement, execution, and finance).Promote customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.4. Reporting & MIS
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate CRM data.Prepare weekly and monthly business reports highlighting leads, conversions, and revenue targets.Candidate Profile : Qualifications :
B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Mechanical / Energy / Power (preferred).MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred, not mandatory).Experience :
5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales of industrial equipment, projects, or technical services.Solar EPC experience preferred but not mandatory.Exposure to capital equipment or industrial project sales will be an added advantage.Skills & Competencies :
Proven ability to develop and close B2B deals in the industrial segment.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Understanding of project-based selling and long sales cycles.Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of handling regional business independently.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.Willingness to travel across India whenever required and nearby regions.This is a office based job in Roofsol Mumbai Head Office and requires occasional travel to meet clients and channel partners. Candidates located and settled in Mumbai will be given first preference. Outstation candidates can apply with willingness to shift to Mumbai, if recruited then company may also offer accomodation for bachelors or families. Salary is not a constraint for right candidate
