Lucy Electric - Senior Software Engineer - Backend Development

Key Accountabilities :

• Design, develop, and test software components for GridKey / Podium Data Centre web pages and system components.
• Develop high quality code to industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews and adhere to strict version control practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including content for user manuals.
• Conduct testing in accordance with the test plan, and ensure all results and observations are accurately captured, documented, and reported
• Coordinate and deliver in cooperation with other project teams, assist with project planning, reporting
• Prepare, execute, and maintain detailed test specifications and test cases, ensuring thorough validation of software Context :

The role involves working as a team member within the global Data Centre development team, who collectively execute all the necessary activities to maintain, improve and optimize our products for the customer and production considering especially the ease-of-use and reliability aspects.

This role is also at times customer facing, to ensure that analytical packages meet the customers expectations, and their feedback is fully understood, considered, and actioned.

As each customers needs are different, the skill set of the role will need to adapt to keep pace with the latest technological advancements, in terms of analysis techniques, tools and frameworks.

The emphasis is on delivering software applications and actionable information, with an expectation to be able to pick-up and maintain code / development environments that have been previously Experience & Skills :
