Architect / Interior Designer

Title : Architect / Interior Designer – Retail Store Design, Detailing & Rollout

Location : Mumbai, Bangalore

Experience : 3 - 4 years in retail store design, detailing, and rollout

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Architect / Interior Designer with expertise in retail store design, detailing, 3D design, and rendering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating construction documents, technical drawings, and detailed 3D visualizations for retail store rollouts. This role also involves presentation development and project coordination to ensure seamless execution of multiple store locations.

Key responsibilities :

Retail Store Design & Detailing :

  • Develop creative and functional retail store concepts that align with brand standards.
  • Produce accurate and detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and millwork details.
  • Create technical drawings with precise specifications for fixtures, finishes, and joinery.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

3D Design & Rendering :

  • Create high-quality 3D models and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Develop photo-realistic renderings for client presentations and internal reviews.
  • Utilize rendering software to showcase materiality, lighting, and spatial quality.

    • Presentation Development :

  • Prepare professional presentation decks, including design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and renderings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing or business development team to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Ensure presentations effectively convey the design intent and align with client expectations.

    • Project Coordination :

  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and coordinate retail store rollouts to ensure consistency and quality across multiple locations.
  • Participate in site visits to review construction progress and address any technical issues.
  • Assist with material selection and procurement as needed.

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in technical drawings, 3D rendering, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit for technical drawings and modeling.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp for 3d designing.
  • Expertise in 3D rendering software (e.g., Twinmotion, Enscape, or similar).
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for presentation development.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
  • Excellent visualization and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in retail store rollout programs and multi-location coordination.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
  • Familiarity with value engineering and cost-effective detailing.
  • Hybrid or in-office work environment, with occasional travel for site visits.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced, and creative team setting.
