Benefits Analyst – Excel, Health Insurance & Group Benefits

We’re looking for a Benefits Proposal Analyst experienced in preparing health, dental, vision, life, STD / LTD insurance proposals using Excel.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing carrier quotes, preparing benefit summaries, and compiling group insurance proposals for US clients.

Strong Excel skills and prior work in employee benefits, group health, or insurance quoting operations are essential.

Strong knowledge of US group health, dental, vision, life, STD & LTD benefits.

Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, formatting).

Experience with insurance carriers or brokers preferred.

Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Excel-based benefit proposals using Broker’s template.
• Review carrier quotes and extract key plan details such as premiums, co-pay, deductibles, and contributions.
• Merge and validate employee census data for proposal accuracy.
• Ensure completeness, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables.
