Sr. Cassandra Database Engineer

Candidate should be able to :

Work with internal and external customers to develop new value-added programs and data solutions with the existing data structure.

Build and maintain multiple Cassandra Clusters in the lower non-production environments.

Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, requirements, operational guidelines, and protection.

Act as liaison with customers, Tests designed applications.

Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, recovery, standards, and implementation.

Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.

Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources.

Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities.

Research and evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions for business issues.

Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality.

performance tuning of the application Sqls and stored Procedures, and also plan and execute the AWS migration of the DB.

you will plan, coordinate and execute the migration of the data from the existing Oracle DB into Cassandra DB.

As a Senior Database Administrator with strong experience in Cassandra and Oracle Database,

Create and Monitor dashboards.

Candidate should have :

Experience in Automation in building and setting up multiple Cassandra Clusters in AWS public cloud.

Experience in Jenkins Scripting.

SQL tuning.

Strong Oracle, Cassandra DBA with 5 - 7 years of experience with the below – AWS env knowledge, AWS Certification, Oracle Certification / Cassandra Certification.
