Organization Profile Brisil is a bio-based materials producing company. The company specializes in the production of advanced chemicals using of biomass waste, such as rice husk, rice straw and other material, using its patented technologies. Through their innovative technology, they have developed a process to produce advanced grades of precipitated silica using biomass waste. Brisil has set up two commercial-scale plant in Halol, Western India, and is in process of adding more manufacturing plants in India & SE Asia. The company is a fast growing startup, founded by a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology BHU (IIT BHU) and is funded by CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad, Sanyo Trading Co Japan, Sagana, Botnar Fondation, Mometum Capital and other investors, with additional support from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is also funded & supported by organizations, like Act Grants, Marico Innovation Foundations Scale up program, Technoserves GreenR program, Millennium Alliance etc. Their technology has received prestigious awards, including the India Innovation Growth Program Award by DST, Government of India & Lockheed Martin, the Economic Times' Power of Idea Award, the Global Cleantech Innovation Program Award by UNIDO, and the Leaders in Innovation Fellowship by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. Brisil's innovative technology utilizes rice husk ash, a waste product generated in large quantities globally, to produce highly dispersible silica and other grades of precipitated silica. This advanced silica is used as a filler in energy-efficient green tires to improve tire performance. Additionally, precipitated silica has applications in various industries including rubber products, conveyor belts, shoes, toothpaste, soaps & detergents, salt & food powders, paints & coatings, and pharmaceuticals. Brisil's has its distributors in more than 15 countries. Its customers list includes some leading global brands, including some Fortune 500 companies.

Job Brisil has a vacancy for Sales Manager whose main responsibility would be to generate new leads investigate and follow up on qualified leads and develop business for potential customers in key market segments.

  • S / He would be responsible for build strong relationships at all levels with the Customers organizations. He / She would prospect new Customers and influence choices for supplier. He / She would also work with customers to identify, suggest & explain potential grades of materials.
  • The major area of work would be related to advanced materials (precipitated silica, Activated Carbon and other related materials).

Area of Responsibility :

  • Identify, investigate and follow up on qualified leads in order to grow sales and build new developments with existing customers
  • Preparation of database, Communication / follow up the new / existing customers for existing products & By-products / new product development
  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, Ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction
  • Manage and oversee the profitability of your business by developing long-term and short-term sales goals, as well as channel strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Marketing products & services of the Company and generating revenues by understanding customer requirement and building long term relationship

  • Manage sales documentation, customer data & MIS, Strategize and lead various activities , Sales analysis & adopting new sales techniques / practices
  • Developing Sales Channels, discussion with channel partners / distributors in different geographies. Finding customers / distributors for by-product, Communication / follow up the new / existing distributors
  • Develop and initiate customer projects for new business opportunities
  • Development of Marketing MBA in Sales & Marketing with B.Sc. / Msc. In Chemistry or B.Tech / M. Tech. in Chemical / Material Engineering
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in chemicals & Advanced materials
  • Ability to consult both on the technical and commercial side, and communicate / present well
  • Strong written and oral presentation Experience in similar industries Teamwork / interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work under pressure
