The Role

We’re looking for a Legal Associate (5+ years PQE) to own and scale our US contracting function—supporting our fast-growing sales motion. You’ll negotiate complex enterprise deals, work across jurisdictions (US, UK, EMEA, APAC), and be the go-to advisor on privacy, AI, and IP issues.

What You’ll Do

Own the contract lifecycle – draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, vendor and partnership agreements, NDAs, teaming arrangements, etc.).

Drive deals to close – partner with Sales, Finance, and Implementation teams to accelerate revenue while protecting company interests.

Spot and solve – identify commercial and legal risks early and propose practical, business-friendly mitigations.

Advise across borders – counsel internal teams on privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and intellectual property issues across multiple jurisdictions.

Simplify the legal – translate complex legal positions into clear, actionable guidance for non-lawyers.

Stay ahead – track legal trends in tech, AI, and data regulation; brief leadership on emerging risk areas.

Build scalable processes – develop templates, playbooks, and deal trackers that streamline operations.

Be the legal conscience – contribute to strategic initiatives that shape how Oro does business globally.

Who You Are

A qualified lawyer with 5+ years of PQE, ideally in a tech (SaaS / product) or fast-growth environment.

Experienced in US commercial contracting (enterprise sales preferred).

Confident negotiating with large customers and procurement teams.

Adept at privacy and IP counseling, including data transfer and AI-related issues.

A strategic doer—equally comfortable drafting complex contracts and advising execs.

A clear communicator who can disagree without drama and get things done.

Thrives in ambiguity, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys solving legal puzzles fast.
