Sansera Engineering is seeking a qualified Shift Incharge to oversee and manage all activities during a designated shift. The Shift Incharge will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of operators. The individual will be responsible for monitoring performance metrics, addressing any issues that arise during the shift, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts to meet production targets.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards by conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Address and resolve any production issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by adhering to safety protocols and encouraging team compliance.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and improve productivity.
  • Prepare shift reports detailing production performance, issues encountered, and action taken.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.

Skills and Tools Required :

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with production processes and quality control principles.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for monitoring production metrics.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools to track and report on production performance.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
