Job Purpose Key Responsibilities : Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as the subject matter expert in civil engineering, providing technical guidance and support for all Copper Vertical Modernization projects. Quality Control : Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure all projects meet the required standards and comply with relevant regulations and codes. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards. Vendor Management : Oversee vendor management processes, including vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with vendors to meet project requirements. Project Management : Lead and manage Copper Vertical Modernization projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success. Stakeholder Communication : Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Problem Solving : Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track. Continuous Improvement : Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in civil engineering, quality control, and vendor management. KPI's : Concept to mobilisation, QC, Contract Closure of Copper Vertical Modernization Project Ensuring Quantity control of all ongoing (PS Convertor replacement, Off gas treatment, Lime silo, H2SO4 Tank, HRSCC, ALF-2) & future projects (ETP, Dore slag, revert handling system, Refinary APU etc). Contract – support, documentation, billing & closure. Job Purpose Description
