About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled .NET Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-level applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud-native development and a commitment to best practices in software development, including security and CI / CD. You will be instrumental in developing new features, enhancing existing systems, and providing critical support across various application subsystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Full Lifecycle Feature Development : Lead the development of complex features across multiple application subsystems, actively participating in every stage of the software development lifecycle from initial requirements definition and prototyping to design, coding, rigorous testing, and seamless deployment.
Application Expertise & Understanding : Develop a deep understanding of our applications' operational mechanics, their architectural structure, and how end-customers interact with and utilize them, ensuring solutions are user-centric and performant.
Technical Operations Support : Provide expert engineering support and guidance to our technical operations staff, assisting them during the building, deploying, configuring, and ongoing support phases of systems for our valued customers.
Code Quality & Best Practices : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices, including security considerations for cloud-based applications.
Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA engineers, and other developers, to ensure successful project delivery. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to articulate ideas, solutions, and challenges clearly.
Architectural Contributions : Contribute to the design and architectural discussions, particularly concerning multi-tenancy architecture and microservices design patterns.
Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in code reviews, contribute to process improvements, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Test Automation & Efficiency : Be flexible and proactive in utilizing modern development tools, including AI-powered assistants like GitHub Copilot or similar tools, to write automated test cases efficiently and accelerate code writing where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in .NET software development.

Core .NET Expertise : Strong expertise and proven experience in developing applications with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.

Data Access : Hands-on experience with Entity Framework & LINQ for efficient data manipulation.

Database Proficiency : Solid experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning, writing and optimizing stored procedures, and implementing effective indexing strategies.

Architectural Understanding : Practical understanding and experience with multi-tenancy architecture principles.

API Development : Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices and APIs (RESTful APIs are essential, GraphQL experience is a strong plus).

CI / CD & DevOps : Experience in setting up and managing CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Security Acumen : Strong knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications.

Methodology : Familiarity and practical experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Communication : Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and stakeholder interaction.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience.
