Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop onboard!WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB : The role is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves developing and implementing process improvements, collaborating with various departments on technical issues, and maintaining technical documentation.WHAT YOU’LL DO : This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.- Analyze and resolve Minimum Equipment List (MEL) discrepancies- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including MELs, repair schemes, and other maintenance-related documents- Conduct research and analysis to identify root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in MEL completion and maintenance operations- On a rotating basis provide 7 day a week coverage for the program within PSA’s fleetALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESSMinimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience : - Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field- 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field- Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and FAA guidelines- FAA 121 Airline Operator and associated FARs or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience : - Experience with MEL completion and maintenance operations- Knowledge of PSA' maintenance procedures and policies- Experience with technical documentation and record-keepingSkills, Licenses, and Certifications : - Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and attention to detailLANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS : - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization- Physical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.Note : If the Company has reason to question an employee’s physical ability to safely and / or successfully perform the position’s essential job functions, the HR team generally will engage in an interactive process to determine whether a reasonable accommodation is appropriate.
