Established in 2020, MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC / AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific

Job Profile : Purpose of Role :
Responsible for ensuring completion of daily obligations in accordance with Head Office Rules, Regulations and EPD policy.
Process supplier and expenses payment in a timely manner ensuring adherence to internal procedures.
Provide administrative support in the review, creation and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Main Responsibilities :
Assist in overseeing the smooth delivery of the services of Accounts Payable and Expenses, both onshore and offshore, managing the key stakeholders in agencies where appropriate.
Manage payment systems in Barclays.
Daily monitoring of cash flow
Ensure clear SLAs and make sure all vendors are paid according to terms.
Ensure clear SLAs and make sure all staff are paid according to terms.
Ensure HR memos are paid on time.
Analyse, report and manage aged creditors, and debit balances.
Ensure compliance with legislation and internal controls.
Ensure accurate journal entries required into the GL.
Weekly bank reconciliation
Balance reconciliations for all payments being made and received.
Support management in resolution of routine issues / queries, ensuring escalation where necessary.
Manage stakeholder relationships and act on escalation.
Provide general support to facilitate the implementation of projects as and when necessary.
Support in the review, creation and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Customer :
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG.
Support and resolve customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, MUFG’s standard procedures and local regulations and assess the impact on the daily operations workflow.
Work in partnership with the wider team for information sharing and to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
To support developmental projects relating to the Department.
Candidate Profile :
Knowledge of Oracle EBS or Financials Cloud
Understanding of the downstream accounting impacts of the actions taken by the AP team
Experience of Accounts Payable covering end to end procure to pay processes and practices.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word
