Job Title : Application Lead — SAP MM (Materials Management)

Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore & Pune

Experience : Minimum 7.5 years (strong, hands-on SAP MM experience)

Role Summary

As an Application Lead — SAP MM, you will lead the design, build and configuration of SAP-based solutions for Materials Management. You will act as the primary point of contact for SAP MM within the program, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will drive delivery, mentor team members, and ensure alignment to SAP best practices and supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP MM — lead functional design, configuration, testing and rollout activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Finance) to gather requirements and propose fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Lead and manage a team of SAP functional / technical resources — assign tasks, review work, and make team decisions to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide end-to-end integration oversight for SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI / CO, WM / EWM, PM) and third-party systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and configuration documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues; provide root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Drive process improvements, knowledge transfer and conduct training sessions for internal teams and business users.
• Monitor project milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and implement corrective actions to meet timelines and quality targets.
• Maintain adherence to SAP best practices, governance, change control and documentation standards.
