Job description

Description :

  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Hyperion EPM applications.
  • Develop and optimize Essbase (ASO and BSO) cubes, calculation scripts, and MDX formulas for performance and scalability.
  • Design and maintain complex business rules, web forms, and SmartView integrations within Hyperion Planning.
  • Implement and manage Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) including consolidations, currency translations, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Manage Financial Data Management (FDM / FDMEE) integrations and data flow from ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS) to Hyperion applications.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable EPM solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Perform system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for Hyperion environments.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, system upgrades, patch management, and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational ITIL processes and service management best practices.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Masters degree preferred.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM suite (Planning, HFM, Essbase, FDMEE).
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing large-scale Hyperion implementations.

    • Technical Expertise :

  • Proficiency in at least three to four Hyperion modules (Planning, HFM, Essbase, FDMEE).
  • Strong experience with data integration tools such as FDMEE, ODI, or custom-built solutions.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Certifications (Preferred) :

  • Oracle Hyperion or EPM certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
