Job descriptionLeadership role that includes business development, practice / capability building, people development, project delivery (across custom and publishing). Manage and deliver complex custom research projects, including problem solving, developing recommendations, crafting deliverables and client management. Manage a team of analysts to create actionable insights to solve client problems by evaluating and analyzing information collected through interviews, surveys, and detailed quantitative analysis. Communicate and interact at the executive level with major providers and recipients of global services, to address their strategic business issues, analyze their offerings, strategy, positioning, and predict the changing dynamics of the market. Develop a strong external reputation by networking with clients, service providers and analysts, participating in research meetings and other public forums, and publishing leading edge research-based reports, whitepapers, and articles. Collaborate with analysts across the company to deliver research that assists clients with understanding strategic global sourcing issues and market trends. Actively drive business development efforts through collaboration with other parts of the organization (e.g., sales). Supervise team activities and take an active role in the professional development, growth and mentoring of his team members. Ensure quality of products and adherence to Everest Group standards. Excellent problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and strong analytical skills. Proficient in project management : capable of multitasking, handling pressure, and meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, with keen attention to detail. Self-driven, well-organized, able to manage time effectively and work independently. Adept at interacting and collaborating within a global team environment. Comfortable with the uncertainty typical in entrepreneurial settings. Eager to excel in business. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook). Solid business judgment, professional demeanor. Long-term goal to contribute to business growth and pursue a career as a business leader. A minimum of 6-9 years of experience in a professional services setting (Management Consulting / Business Research). A Bachelor's degree from a well-regarded college; an MBA is preferred (from a Tier-1 Business School). Experience with strategy / management consulting firms, corporate strategy teams within providers, or strategy groups of Global Business Services / Global Capability Centers is advantageous. Knowledge and experience in the outsourcing and offshoring industry, along with the ability to comprehend market trends. Strong executive presence and presentation abilities. Excellent relationship-building skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative work style with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities. A willingness to travel intermittently.

- The candidate must be adept at participating in the sales cycle, consulting, presenting to diverse audience sizes, collaborating with senior executives, developing complex scenarios, setting research agendas, and tackling strategic global sourcing issues with clients.
- This position reports to the Partner (Commercial and Solutions Analytics) at Everest Group.
