Job descriptionOptimize Snowflake queries, virtual warehouses, and micro-partitioning strategies for high-performance analytics. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures, query performance issues, and concurrency bottlenecks. Monitor and tune ETL jobs to reduce execution time and resource consumption. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Snowflake cloud services, including storage, compute, and security configurations. Automate tasks using Python, Shell scripts, or Snowflake Tasks. Manage and monitor data workflows, jobs, and pipelines using orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Tidal, Control-M). Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Document data pipelines, transformations, architecture, and operational procedures. Support production incidents and change management for Snowflake-based systems. 4-10 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database operations. Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake query tuning, and data modeling. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or similar). Experience with cloud data platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficient in Python, Shell, or other scripting languages for automation. Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, or similar). Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.

Role Overview :
We are seeking a Snowflake Developer with extensive experience in data engineering, ETL development, and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and supporting data pipelines and analytical solutions on Snowflake, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Engineering & ETL Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines on Snowflake for structured and semi-structured data sources.
- Implement data transformations, aggregations, and calculations using SQL and Snowflake-specific features (e.g., streams, tasks, stored procedures, and UDFs).
- Develop and optimize data ingestion workflows from multiple sources including relational databases, APIs, and cloud storage systems.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple environments.
