What You'll Do

• Editorial Planning : Collaborate with senior editors to craft daily, weekly, and monthly rosters for the news team.
• Trendspotting : Monitor feeds and identify trends to shape the day's editorial news agenda.
• Quality Control : Edit, validate, and fact-check stories to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
• Team Development : Train your team to break exclusive stories, dive deep into subjects, and conduct insightful interviews.
• Innovation : Brainstorm new story formats, series, and themes to keep our content fresh and engaging.
• Team Well-being : Ensure roster optimisation and maintain a happy, high-performing team.
• Draft Important Stories : Open to stepping in and drafting quick and important stories once in a while when other reporters are occupied with equally important stories
