Functional Consultant - SAP MM Module

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant (Manager / Sr. Manager) with 5-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations, preferably in S / 4HANA (Public Cloud).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and proven expertise in SAP MM functional areas, including procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage SAP MM Rollouts, Implementations, and Support projects.
• Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and configure SAP MM solutions to meet client needs.
• Drive MM Master Data Management processes including material and vendor master data setup.
• Configure and support procurement processes : Quotation, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and Service Orders.
• Manage inventory processes : Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfer, Physical Inventory adjustments, and Period-End Closing.
• Handle Logistics Invoice Verification, Release Strategy configuration, and Output Management for purchasing documents.
• Prepare and validate functional specifications for enhancements and custom reports.
• Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP), integration teams (FI, SD, PP), and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support testing phases : UAT, regression, and integration testing; prepare test cases and support test execution.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure compliance with localization requirements, particularly India GST and other region-specific MM configurations.
• Utilize knowledge of SAP MM tables and provide basic debugging support (optional).
• Collaborate on interface integration activities and support IDOC-related functional requirements (preferred).
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management (WM) processes is an added advantage.
