Product : Lumina – an AI wellness companion for people who spend long hours on laptops.

Location : Remote (India-friendly hours)

Type : Part-time → Path to founding team

Compensation : 20% fixed monthly stipend + 80% meaningful equity

Who Can Apply : 5+ years of relevant experience

Time Required : Total : 22.5 hours ( 3 hours daily and additional hours during Saturday.)

What You’ll Build

You will be working on the frontier of on-device AI and user wellness. Developing :

Computer Vision on the Edge : Integrate cutting-edge vision technologies directly within app.

Deep OS Integrations : Go beyond the UI to build background services, user notifications, and hooks into core OS APIs to create a seamless experience.

High-Performance Engineering : Master async video loops, multiprocessing, and memory / CPU profiling to ensure our application is both powerful and efficient.

LLMs & Agent Workflows : Integrate local and remote LLMs to build intelligent automations that genuinely help users manage their well-being.

Minimum Requirements :

• Academic Foundation : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience : 5 + years of software development focused on iOS or macOS applications.
• Manage : Lead and mentor a team of developers while staying hands-on with coding.
• Native iOS Mastery : Proven experience architecting, building, and shipping production iOS / macOS apps with Swift.
• Strong CS Fundamentals : Solid grasp of data structures, operating systems, and concurrency.
• Backend : Experience building and integrating cloud APIs on AWS or GCP.
• Modern Development Practices : Proficient with Git, CI / CD (e.g., GitHub Actions), and Agile methods.
• AI Implementation : Hands-on with Vision, Core ML, MLX, Create ML, and integrating open-source Python / C++ libraries into native Mac apps.
• Multi-Language Proficiency : Regularly write Python and C++ and bridge them into macOS applications.
• Performance Tuning : Understanding of GPU / CPU optimization and advanced memory management on Apple silicon.
• Testing & Quality : Own unit, UI and integration tests (XCTest, Cocoa testing), maintain ≥80% coverage, enforce code reviews and coding standards.
• Monetization Models : Experience implementing subscriptions and in-app purchases.
• Privacy & Security : Keychain / TCC entitlements, encryption and GDPR / CCPA compliance.
• Portfolio : Portfolio of live App Store apps you can demo and discuss.
