Job Title : Sr Network Engineer

Position : Senior Systems Engineer

Experience : 7-11 years

Category : Software Development / Engineering

Shift : 5 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM IST

Main location : Bangalore (E-CITY) - ODC

Employment Type : Full Time

Education Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

Position Overview :

The primary emphasis for this role should be on network routing and switching specifically with Cisco and Arista platforms. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in :

Routing protocols : Understanding and hands-on experience with OSPF and BGP.

Switching technologies : Including VLANs STP EtherChannel and Layer 3 switching.

Firmware and platform familiarity :

oCisco Nexus (NX-OS) - Must Have

oCisco IOS-XE - Must Have

oArista EOS - Good to have

Upgrade procedures : Familiarity with firmware upgrade processes including pre-checks rollback planning and post-upgrade validation for both Cisco and Arista environments.

Python is optional

Automation skill - Optional
