Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, located in Mumbai. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and manage pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. The role includes educating patients about eye health, performing vision therapy, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in ocular diseases, optics, and visual disorders
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Ability to prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Skills in pre- and post-operative eye care management
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• State licensure to practice optometry in Mumbai
