Your Role :

  • As an APIC Developer (Delivery Consultant IBM Expert Labs), you will :
  • Act as a trusted integration advisor for leading global clients.
  • Lead end-to-end API strategy, design, deployment, and governance using IBM API Connect (v10+).
  • Deliver secure, scalable, and reusable APIs & microservices across on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and containerized (CP4I, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower appliances & APIC infrastructure for high availability and security.
  • Collaborate with network & security teams to integrate APIC into enterprise ecosystems.
  • Ensure seamless deployments, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.

What Were Looking For (Required Expertise) :

  • 12-18 years of Middleware / Integration experience
  • Strong expertise in IBM API Connect (v10+), Developer Portal, API Manager
  • Deep knowledge of API security (OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, SSO, AAA policies, SSL / TLS)
  • Hands-on with DataPower appliances installation, clustering, load balancing, cryptographic object management
  • Skilled in service design, AAA, Gateway Script, XSLT, XQuery, SOAP / REST, JSON / XML
  • Practical experience in multi-cloud / hybrid deployments (OVA, CP4I, SaaS)-
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python), Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills

    • Preferred Expertise (Nice to Have) :

  • Knowledge of ACE, CP4I, AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with automation scripting & reusable code development
  • Familiarity with Kafka / Event Streams & backend integrations (MQ, DB2, Oracle)
  • Advanced problem-solving & client-facing communication
