eWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically fluent Product Specialist to join our Strategic Solutions Team (SST). This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the foundation of innovative shared services and frameworks powering products across Deltek
- .As a Product Specialist in the SST, you'll support Senior Product Management by managing the backlog for key shared service domains (AI, Framework & Platform, or Data Platform & Analytics). You'll ensure engineering teams have the clarity they need to execute effectively while collaborating with product teams across the company to drive adoption and gather feedback. You'll also play a critical role in ensuring a strong developer and product management experience for those consuming our services by overseeing documentation, training resources, onboarding, and support processes

ionMaintain the backlog for one or more services, ensuring work is well-defined and prioriti
zed.Align deliverables with the roadmap and coordinate timelines with consuming product teams.Partner with the Senior Product Manager to break down initiatives into features and epics.Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria reflecting stakeholder and engineering input.Participate in grooming, reviews, and sprint ceremonies to deliver value quickly.
Adoption, Enablement & S
upportEnsure an excellent developer and product manager experience for consuming
teams.Oversee creation and accessibility of documentation, training, onboarding, support, FAQs, and changelogs.Collaborate with product teams to drive integration, identify blockers, and ensure adoption success.Monitor usage metrics and work with PMs to enhance enablement and engagement strategies.Coordinate post-release support, including updates, bug triaging, and escalations.

Qual
ifications3+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, technical program management, or a related role insoftware.Solid understanding of software delivery processes and experience working with technical teams in Agile environments.Comfortable translating strategic direction into backlog items that driveexecution.Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and aligning deliverables across multiple product teams.Proven ability to manage post-release support workflows and continuously evolve products based on feedback and metrics.Familiarity with technical products and overseeing the creation of enablement content for diverseaudiences.Understanding of platform thinking and the dynamics of shared service delivery in a B2B SaaS or enterprise environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills—capable of documenting clearly and collaborating acrossfunctions.Experience with backlog tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) and working knowledge of APIs, AI, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecturesis a plus.
