Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Assurant-GCC, India

Quality Assurance Engineers will work closely with focused product teams to test the Web, mobile client and SDK applications.

This position will be in Hyderabad at our India location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Work with product teams to create and validate test cases
Execute test cases daily, analyze results, and provide feedback to the team
Execute sprintly regression plans and provide feedback to the team for releases
Monitor analytics, bug reports, and system monitoring
Create new regression test cases during PBI refinement
Gathering all applicable systems information for bug reporting
Work with product teams to finalize feature documentation (change logs, overview)
Help junior-level engineers and answer questions related to things like : Overall app testing (whole app)Feature test casesIntegration and regression testingClient / server testing
Troubleshoot Tier 4 support issues
Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

Overall 5+ Years of Working Exp.

3+ years' experience working with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

3+ years’ experience using Postman

3+ years' experience with bug-tracking systems and test management systems

such as Azure DevOps

1+ year experience testing Mobile Applications

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in lean, fast-paced environments

Solid written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate issues to different audiences

Experience writing automated test cases or basic programming skills and a desire to learn automation tools

Proven ability to learn quickly

Proven meticulous attention to UI details

Experience troubleshooting ambiguous problems

Advanced PC / Mac user

What other are the Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge?

Experience in cross-platform testing of mobile, web, and SDK applications

Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

Knowledge and / or experience with security testing

Experience with automation tools (i.e. run automation scripts, analyze reports and

issues, report bugs)

Platform-specific knowledge of React Native
