As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI / CD pipeline for it.

The Microsoft Migration Architect leads the design and execution of large-scale migrations and modern workplace transformations, focusing on Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Intune. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong skills to advise stakeholders, mentor teams, and drive adoption of Microsoft cloud technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in a senior architect or technical lead role.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Design and implement migration architectures for Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams), including hybrid coexistence and mail flow.

Lead migrations from Citrix / VMware Horizon to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Cloud PC, including solution design, image management, and FSLogix profile container planning.

Develop high-level designs (HLDs), migration playbooks, and executive roadmaps for projects exceeding 10,000 seats and multi-geo environments.

Architect and deploy endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Configuration Profiles.

Oversee migration from SCCM and other legacy environments to cloud-based management platforms.

Ensure device compliance, secure app deployment, and Windows 11 / Office Apps rollout.

Design hybrid identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AAD Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, and Federation.

Implement governance frameworks, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, retention policies, and compliance solutions (eDiscovery, Insider Risk, Purview).

Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce Zero Trust and endpoint protection standards.

Advise C-level stakeholders, simplify technical concepts, and mentor delivery engineers.

Lead strategic engagements, workshops, and roadmap development sessions for clients.

Build feedback-driven adoption programs and user training initiatives.

Document architectures, configurations, operational runbooks, and migration processes.

Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Diagnostics for ongoing support and optimization.

Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, Intune, Azure AD / Entra ID, and AVD.

Experience with third-party migration tools (Quest, BitTitan, SkyKick, Manage Engine).

Strong Architecting skills, good communication, and mentoring skills.

Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Graph APIs, and modern workplace solutions.

Proven ability to lead complex migrations and drive organizational change.

Strong documentation and executive communication skills.

Experience building Centers of Excellence (CoE) for AI governance and user adoption.
