About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Planning Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong background in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and related planning modules. This role leans more toward functional expertise, but a techno-functional background is highly desirable for handling end-to-end implementations, solution design, and production support in a global enterprise environment.
You will work closely with business users, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver Oracle EBS Planning solutions that meet business goals while ensuring scalability, performance, and user Responsibilities :
- Act as the functional lead for Oracle EBS Planning modules, especially ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning) and Demantra.
- Work on end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and support projects across Oracle EBS Planning modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to supply chain planning processes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, design solutions, and prepare functional design documents (MD050, BR100, etc.).
- Configure Oracle ASCP modules, set up planning parameters, collections, and planning engines.
- Provide expertise in Oracle Demantra, including setup, forecasting, and integration with ASCP.
- Coordinate with technical teams to support any custom development, reports, or interfaces related to Planning modules.
- Deliver production support and resolve issues within SLAs, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Conduct user training, prepare training materials, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support planning cycle processes such as forecast consumption, constrained / unconstrained planning, and supply / demand pegging.
- Interact with global teams and provide input on best practices and continuous Skills & Experience :
- 612 years of overall experience in Oracle EBS with a minimum of 5+ years in Oracle ASCP and Planning modules.
- Strong functional understanding and hands-on experience in :
a. Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
b. Oracle Demantra
c. Global Order Promising (GOP) (Preferred)
Experience in at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementations of Oracle Planning modules.Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts : demand planning, supply planning, constraint-based planning, forecast consumption, etc.Familiarity with Order Management and Manufacturing modules is an added advantage.Ability to write or understand basic technical components, such as SQL queries, concurrent programs, and workflows (for techno-functional profiles).Exposure to Oracle R12 and integration with other enterprise systems.(ref : hirist.tech)
