As a Senior Analyst in Target’s HR Shared Services, you will lead the resolution of complex, escalated, or sensitive administrative tasks related to leave of absence (LOA) and accommodations. Your responsibilities include collaborating closely with on-site HR, internal stakeholders, Ops leadership, the Leave and Disability team, and team members to ensure compliant, efficient, and employee-centric outcomes.You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for your peers, and uphold the highest standards of judgment, documentation, and cross-functional partnership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead escalated or complex LOA administrative cases and accommodation requests, includingmedicalornon-standard scenarios .Serve as an SME forleave policies, disability management , andreturn-to-work processes .Partner withHRBPs , theLeave & Disability team ,on-site HR ,Ops leaders , andteam membersto managehigh-risk or sensitive cases .Ownreturn-to-work planningfor team members requiringlayered or evolving accommodations .Interpret and apply leave and accommodation policies, using soundjudgment in ambiguous situations .Drive quality by identifying gaps, ensuringaccuracy , and prescribingeffective action plansto eliminate errors and improve consistency in task management.Support or leadprocess improvement initiatives , pilot programs, and training projects within the team.Proactively assess potential risks and barriers when implementing new processes or streamlining existing ones, ensuringmitigation strategiesare in place.Represent the team inbusiness reviews ,cross-functional discussions , and contribute to strategic planning by providing insights into team performance, metrics, trends, and areas of improvement.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.Minimum8 yearsof experience inleave administration ,accommodations ,employee relations,orHR operations .Strong knowledge of labor laws includingADA, FMLA, PWD Act , and related compliance frameworks.Demonstratedcritical thinking , issue resolution, andstakeholder managementcapabilities.Proven ability tomanage escalationsand influencecross-functional decision-making .Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel ,Outlook , and case management systems.Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills, with an ability to explain complex scenarios clearly.
