Qualification : M.Sc. life sciences or applied Sciences
- Lab Management : Overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth functioning.
- Quality Control and Assurance : Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. This may involve developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs), conducting regular audits, and addressing any deviations or non-conformities.
- Equipment and Instrumentation : Managing the procurement, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure they are in optimal working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management : Monitoring and managing laboratory supplies and reagents to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and cost.
- Safety and Compliance : Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, as well as adherence to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development : Providing training and development opportunities for laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, as well as ensuring compliance with training requirements.
- Process Improvement : Identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the laboratory, and implementing relevant improvements or initiatives.
