Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS using services such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure production-grade, repeatable environments.
- Build and maintain automated CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, applying best practices in branching
strategies, pull request reviews, and release automation.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting, Python, or Bash to streamline deployment and operational workflows.Manage containerization with Docker, and orchestrate container workloads using ECS or EKS.Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry, and implement alerts and dashboards as needed.Implement and advocate DevSecOps best practices, including security automation, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments across multiple environments.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and Skills & Qualifications :10+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, with a focus on cloud environments.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch.Proven expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and maintaining production-grade infrastructure.Proficiency in GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull request reviews, and CI / CD automation with GitHub Actions.Strong scripting skills with Linux shell scripting, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and basic orchestration experience with ECS or EKS.Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry.Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, including security automation and secrets management.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced Qualifications :Experience with other cloud providers or multi-cloud environments.Knowledge of additional IaC tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation.Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).(ref : hirist.tech)
