SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll Consultant - Key Requirements
1. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll and Time Management (including Time Tracking) for India.
2. Minimum 3-5 full life cycle Payroll implementations for the US geography.
3. Strong experience in SAP HCM Payroll processes and functionalities.
4. Deep understanding of SAP Payroll India - including gross-to-net calculation, rules, and taxation.
5. Hands-on experience in performing year-end and quarter-end activities for India Payroll.
6. Proficient in SAP HCM submodules such as Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), and Time Management.
7. Ability to design, configure, and maintain payroll components including wage types, benefits integration, deductions, off-cycle activities, garnishments, accumulations, date / period modifiers, and reporting.
8. Expertise in configuring and maintaining wage types, determining taxation rules, FI mapping, infotype associations, and permissibility rules.
9. Proven experience in leading and managing the payroll workstream to ensure overall project success.
10. Hands-on experience in Payroll Integrations.
11. Skilled in gap analysis and strategic roadmap / blueprint development.
12. In-depth understanding of Time Off rules and configuration of Time Objects such as Time Profiles, Time Types, and Time Sheets.
13. Strong executive presence with the ability to effectively interact with customer top management.
14. Experienced in incident handling, with strong error analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
15. Experience in proactive monitoring of applications, identifying and suggesting process and performance improvements.
