Data Scientist - Machine Learning / Deep Learning

Position : Data Scientist

Desired Experience : 2-8 years

Your team :

You will act as a key member of the Data consulting team, working directly with the partners and senior stakeholders of the clients. You will collaboratively work with interdisciplinary scientists, IT and engineering professionals across the organization to solve critical problems and answer important questions that drive key decisions for our business. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem solving attitude.

Your expertise :

• 2+ years in an analytics role, preferably with direct experience in big data solutions & approaches
• SME in statistics, analytics, big data, data science, machine learning, deep learning, cloud, mobile, and full stack technologies.
• Hands-on experience analysing large amounts of data to derive actionable insights
• Database background (SQL, Hadoop, Apache Spark or other Big Data platforms) will be a distinct advantage.
• Broad Machine Learning experience - Algorithm Evaluation, Preparation, Analysis, Modelling and Execution.
• Working knowledge on traditional statistical model building (Example : Regression, Classification, Time series, Segmentation etc.), machine learning (Random forest, Boosting algos, SVM, KNN etc), deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transfer learning) and NLP( Stemming, Lemitization, Named entity extraction, Latent semantic analysis etc).
• Hands on experience in Python & R with good proficiency level
• Experience in building analytical / data science solution proposals
• Good communication skills and partnerships with technology, product strategy, and data office.
• Experience collaborating and influencing senior leaders, business partners across time zones.
• Self-starter and autonomous; work with a global team and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership
• Degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or information science
• A strong portfolio of GitHub, Kaggle, IP contributions
