Location : Guindy, Chennai

Type : Full-time Internship, (Work from Office)

Duration : 3–6 months

Start Date : Immediate

What You’ll Do

  • Design and prototype enclosures, mounts, and structural components for drones and related hardware.
  • Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and basic CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) operations in your design process.
  • Develop 3D models and detailed part drawings using softwares like Solidworks, Creo, CATIA V5.
  • Collaborate on aesthetic + functional design of drone elements, storage cases, launch setups, charging stations, etc.
  • Support rapid prototyping using 3D printing / CNC / laser cutting workflows.
  • Conduct basic design validation through field testing and iteration.
  • Document designs, changes, and contribute to internal knowledge systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design / Industrial Design / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Design certification is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software and interest in physical product development.
  • Passion for building real things – hands-on, iterative, prototype-driven mindset.
  • Bonus : Knowledge of drones, robotics, electronics, or lighting tech.
  • Bonus : Experience with rendering, animation , or creating visually compelling product visuals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – you’ll work directly with tech and creative teams.
