Job Title : Legal Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support
- Prepare, draft, proofread, and edit legal documents (contracts, agreements, correspondence, etc.)
- Organize and maintain physical and digital case files
- Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings
- Track deadlines and manage legal calendars
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and document filing
Client Communication
Answer and make phone calls to clients, legal offices, and third partiesRespond to and manage email inquiries professionally and promptlySchedule client meetings and follow-up appointmentsMaintain a courteous and professional manner in all client interactionsCRM & Administrative Duties
Input and manage client and case data in the CRM systemTrack client interactions, legal tasks, and deadlines within CRMGenerate reports and summaries from CRM as neededOrganize internal documentation, meeting notes, and updatesHandle general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entryRequirements
Diploma or certificate in Legal Assistant, Paralegal Studies, or related fieldMinimum 2–5 years of experience in a legal or administrative support roleFamiliarity with legal terminology, documents, and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)Experience using CRM software (e.g., Clio, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionUS Shift
