Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid.
Implement API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, API key validation, and threat protection.
Collaborate with architects and product teams to design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices and design patterns.
Develop custom policies using Java, JavaScript, and Python (where required).
Ensure adherence to API governance, scalability, and performance optimization standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API proxies, authentication, and performance.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate APIs into CI / CD pipelines.
Provide technical expertise in API design patterns, security, and lifecycle management.
Required Skills :
Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid.
Expertise in API security (OAuth, JWT, API Key validation, Threat Protection).
Proficiency in Java for custom policy development.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
Knowledge of API proxies, traffic management, caching, and mediation policies.
Familiarity with API design patterns and governance models.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
