Associate Content Producer

Position Overview

The Publishing Team is responsible for creating all new Forbes Advisor web pages and optimising existing pages via the CMS across the numerous Forbes Advisor properties. This is in order to meet customer needs and ultimately deliver the business SEO strategy. The team has grown quickly and continues to do so producing 700 pieces of content per month with new areas of responsibility arriving regularly. This specialist role is fundamental to the business success ensuring we are able to publish content quickly accurately and to a high standard first time. We are seeking a talented individual to help Forbes Marketplace to best leverage and scale our content production capabilities across multiple properties.  A typical day in the life of a Content Producer involves working with the team management and monitoring our intake queues to understand content briefs and using Wordpress to build or optimise pages to meet those requirements in a fast and accurate manner. You will also be regularly supporting and training other Content Producers and Interns.

Responsibilities

• Publish all content types within your assigned vertical(s) at pace to meet deadlines and to a high standard. Attention to detail is vital and is the cornerstone of what the team stands for. You will be expected to uphold this in the work you produce.
• Manage your own workflow where possible proactively identifying new formatting tasks from the intake queue and completing them any formatting change type within your vertical(s) using the advanced WordPress understanding that you will develop in the role.
• You will be expected to be able to make changes to all components self-sufficiently. You will also have a solid understanding of other vertical CMS and be able to make changes in them when required to support the wider team.
• You will be expected to identify and raise any issues you encounter with the CMS to team management so that these can be logged with the technology teams for fixing. You will also be expected to proactively propose solutions for what the fix needs to achieve.
• Deliver publishing support and training for other Production Team members and Interns by using your advanced CMS knowledge to help other Content Producers and InternsWork with the PR / Branding teams to create Custom Branded Landers for FA award winning companies to link to when required
